Being a Sailor is going swimmingly

I am truly enjoying my time in the mighty US Navy. They take care of us here and we look after one another. Life is good but I do miss home a bit. Ok, a lot. Anyway, as I've never really had all that much to say on xanga, toodles.

It's been long enough

As I sit here pondering what to write (which usually means I'll find something else to do and forget to finish posting), I cannot help but wonder, "What are your thoughts on life?" So far all that I have been able to figure out is that everyone is searching for something. Something that will make them happy, complete, and fill a void in their life. I look around the lunch room somedays and I notice that all people are ever trying to do or talk about is something to make them laugh. Something to make them happy. So, what do you think? What goes through your head?

State music contest is this Friday. I'm very excited! I get to go for the first time since sophomore year. Good ol' Vivaldi came through. I'm glad to have been blessed this much with a musical talent.

At this point I'm left with not much to say. Still crackin the midget jokes. Those are goin' good. Anyway, I'm out.

Yeah, it's about time that I update. Since I've been gone a few things have happened. Chrismas being one of them. I got one of those music things. It's black and small and "nano-rific." Swim team is another big one. It's been great. I've gotten so much more buff since I began that I don't even remember being out of shape. Kate and I have been dating for two months now. That's amazing. Ask and I'll be willing to tell you about it. Just Lust series at church is going well. I'm leaving Lust Vegas. I found a replacement drummer for me. He is amazing. Austin does such a good job. He's got Saturday nights now. Ski Trip was good too. Anyway, more later.

So now that that's out.

No school tomorrow. Joy. Kate is sick, bummer. No church tonight, bummer. Freezing, bummer. Sleding tomorrow (maybe), eh....could be worse. Latin homework, strangely, I find myself looking forward to Latin homework nowadays. I guess it's because I realize that without it, my grade will plummet due to the final in a few weeks. That's crap.

I have AIM now, but it's a big secret. Just kidding. Same as my email, without the @excite.com part.

I'm not usually awake right now so I'm kind of tipsy. I'll probably go to sleep soon.
